There are several airline business class products I hope to fly and review for Oscape in 2024. I’ve wanted to fly some airlines on this list since 2023. I’m very excited to find the availability for this year.
I wrote about my elite travel strategy for this year in a separate article – and mostly I’ll be embracing a freestyle life of buying whatever ticket works best for me. We’ll see how far down I get this list by the end of the year!
Air France new Business Class (B777 and A350)
Air France flies their new business class on several B777 and A350 aircraft. The new product launched in 2023. These are a significant upgrade over the existing older seat in service on most planes – and include doors for privacy.
This business class product was displayed in their 90th Anniversary of Elegance display; I attended the event in Paris in October 2023.
Needless to say this is one of the top products on my list that I hope to experience and review in 2024.
Japan Airlines A350-1000 Business Class
Newly announced in late 2023 and launching today, the Japan Airlines A350-1000 sets a high profile new standard for the experience in the air. JAL recently unveiled the plane in Tokyo.
This seat seems very similar to that used in Delta’s A350-900 aircraft. This seat features a spacious closed suite design with sliding doors for privacy, digital panels on the outside for communication with the FAs, luggage storage at the seat, a personal wardrobe, and wireless charging.
Most notable in this cabin is the removal of headphones from the experience in favor of a special surround sound headrest audio system.
You can view a cool 360 panorama of the new seat here.
LATAM Airlines B767-300 Business Class
I flew LATAM for the first time on their B787 using Alaska Mileage Plan points.
I really enjoyed the flight; this is not the best business class product that LATAM offers.
That product, a suite design with lots of privacy, is found on their B767–300 aircraft which flies from New York to Lima and Miami to Lima among other cities. This looks similar to Delta’s B767-300 product, and vastly improved.
As I have to visit South America a few times this year, I hope that I get to review this flight and this product as one of those flights.
EVA Air Business Class
EVA Air is one of the few airlines I have zero experience with, and I haven’t been to Taiwan yet.
I hope to try flying the airline this year – perhaps routing thru Taiwan on my frequent Japan trips.
It’s Royal Laurel Business Class is well rated and loved by many.
China Airlines Business Class
Similarly, I haven’t yet experienced China Airlines on one of my Asia flights. Wrapping up airlines I’d like to fly in Asia, China airlines is near the top of the list for this year.
I hope I can find a good deal on Delta SkyMiles or Air France Flying Blue, or another partnership.
Etihad Airlines Business Class
I had a few opportunities to try Etihad last year, and missed them. The airline launched new aircraft in 2023 featuring new Business suites with privacy doors, enhanced Wi-Fly packages, a partnership with Armani/Casa and new technology features.
I’m on the lookout for trying any one of their Business Class flights. I am especially interested in the new B787 suites that were recently launched.
Qatar Airways Q-Suites Business Class
Still known as one of the world’s best Business Class products, I have yet to find a suitable booking to try out Qatar Airways and its Q-Suites product.
This is operated on various A350 and B777 routes for Qatar Airways.
Final Thoughts
I am not fully certain how my travel plans pan out this year.
I think we’ll see some interesting journeys and fun reviews in time.
