Retaining Vietnam Airlines SkyTeam Elite Plus Status
Once your status match is accepted, you will be granted elite status for 12 months. To retain your status the following year, you will need to meet the following criteria.
- Lotusmiles Titanium: 15,000 qualifying miles or 18 flight sectors
- Lotusmiles Gold: 30,000 qualifying miles or 27 flight sectors
- Lotusmiles Platinum: 50,000 qualifying miles or 45 flight sectors

In total, you can match your status from 46 programs to Vietnam Airlines LotusMiles. Depending on the program you are matching from, you can match all the way up to LotusMiles’ top-tier Platinum Status. Unsurprisingly, there are no SkyTeam members in the stats match offer.
