This week I’ll be breaking our regular schedule to make some Black Friday special posts for airfare and air travel deals. Many are ones I’m taking advantage of myself, and perhaps other readers can also take advantage. The first post is about LaCompagnie.
LaCompagnie is the all-business class airline that flies between Newark EWR and a couple of cities in Europe – Paris France Orly (ORY), Milan Italy (MXP), and Nice France (NCE).

While I’ve never personally flown LaCompagnie, I’m very interested to try the airline for many reasons!
The company is ten years old and is an All-Business-Class airline. The airline operates a fleet of new A321neos, one of the most comfortable, quiet, and modern narrowbody planes on the market today.
The airline uses Collins Aerospace Diamond seats, which I’ve flown on several airlines including Delta’s B757-200s on their Transcontinental North America flights and KLM’s B777-200s on their Asia-Europe flights. While not individualized suites, they are definitely a good experience for partner travel!
The airline also offers industry leading free WiFi, provided by Viasat. LaCompagnie’s WiFi is supposed to be among the world’s best, making this excellent for working flights. The Airline also touts its French gastronomy.
On the downside, the flight operates from Paris ORY and Newark EWR, making connections tougher.

This sale is ideal for anyone looking to travel between the New York City area and Europe, non-stop, between December 1 this year and the end of May next year.

However, the real value comes if you switch to the French version of the site, and book Paris ORY as the origin of the round trip going west to Newark EWR. With this configuration the price drops to €1200 Euro Roundtrip!
To put that in perspective, that’s under $1350 for a round trip Business Class ticket, or roughly $675 per flight!

I personally took advantage of this and bought a round trip ticket in Spring of next year, for the equivalent of $1310 USD. That’s excellent value for a trans-Atlantic Business Class ticket.
